I've been a professional musical improviser since 1999, writing and lecturing about philosophy and improvisation since 2014, teaching at the Jazz Department of the Conservatory of Amsterdam since 2013, teaching an MA course on freedom and improvisation at the Conservatory, and working on my dissertation on politics and improvisation. My peer-reviewed article on Nietzsche and improvisation, "To Lie Beyond Good & Evil: A Musical Question of Truth"  (2019) was published by Tijdschrift voor Filosofie (Journal for Philosophy).
